Nara Links

A Nara link is a unique URL (Uniform Resource Locator - also known as a web link) which you can send to someone else. They can then open this link in a standard web browser and it will automatically open Nara on their computer with a login prompt. Once they have entered their security credentials and they have been verified by the Nara server, the playlist will automatically open in the Nara Playback window allowing them to view the media.

The stream which is sent via a Nara playlist link is exactly the same as the stream you view in the Nara user interface. It comes straight from the master media and has the same accurate colour management applied.

The format of a Nara link is: https://<nara_server>?playlist=9dbc4411-54b0-4ac0-bab8-fc0ae36230cb

This secure link includes a unique key which prevents anyone without authorised access to the Nara server from identifying any of the media or anything about the project to which it belongs.
